NERPA505 Update for the week of 28 Nov 2010

Hello 505!  I Hope everyone had an enjoyable and safe Thanksgiving!  There is a lot to be thankful for, including the opportunity CAP provides us to serve our community, state and nation.

(1) The 30 Nov. meeting is a fifth Tuesday casual night.  There will be an Aerospace Education presentation since it is monthly core curriculum and was missed last week because of the meeting cancellation.  Cadets may attend in civvies if they wish.
(2) Capt will have a meeting re. our participation in the Wreaths Across America program.
(3) There have been some changes in the meeting requirements for the CAP safety program.  They will be addressed at the Safety meeting on 7 Dec.
(4) Mark your calendars:
  • Wednesday, 1 Dec, is the birthday of the Civil Air Patrol.  "Civil Air Patrol Sunday" is 5 Dec.
  • Saturday, 11 Dec, beginning at 1200 hrs, is the target for laying wreaths on veteran's graves at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell.  All cadets and senior members who will be available to participate should notify Capt. Hagberg.
