Correction to NERPA505 Update for the Week of 27 Mar 11

I neglected to put a request in the update that we try to get as many cadets as possible to tonight's meeting by 1800 hrs.  We'll need the extra time for viewing the movie and completing the leadership analysis.

(2) The flight simulator will be available as an additional aerospace opportunity.  Lt. Fuller will be in charge.
(3) Time will also be made available for drill.

NERPA505 Update for the Week of 6 Mar 2011

Hello 505!  Here is the Squadron Update for this week.

(1) Re. Maj. Brown, Dep. Commander for Cadets:
  • Based on our schedule, this week our two educational blocks include Leadership and Character Development. Each educational block will be approximately 50 minutes long. Commander Hagberg's winter dress rule says BDU's are in.
  • C2Lt Matheny has asked to have the first educational block to work on drill with the cadets.
  • Chaplain Capt Matheny will conduct Character Development in the other educational block. We also need to make sure that all new cadets have ordered their uniforms.
(2) Cadets and senior members please take note of the Cadet Conference and Wing Commanders Call item below in "Dates to remember."  Those who plan to attend need to notify Capt. Hagberg as soon as possible so adequate transportation arrangements can be worked out, and so registrations can be submitted.  Seats for the Cadet Dining In are limited, so those who wish to attend it must be registered soon.  Registration fees for cadets will be paid by the squadron.
