NERPA 505 Update

Greetings 505! My apologies for not getting this update out in a timely manner. Too many "irons in the fire" this past week.

(1) Tuesday is Safety briefing and Testing night. The uniform of the day is BDUs. Every cadet should be planning to test on either Leadership, Aerospace, or both. If you need PT, bring appropriate clothing and running shoes. Combat boots are not good for running on the gym floor.
(2) This is the last week to register for the Wing Cadet Conference if you plan to attend. Registration forms need to be at Wing HQ by 11 Apr. Parents will need to provide transportation. The cadet conference is not mandatory, except for Cadet Advisory Council representatives.
(3) Be planning ahead for the search and rescue exercise 15-17 May. You will need to have completed the online 116 General Emergency Services exam in order to be issued a 101 card. If you have not completed the exam, let Lt Hagberg or me know and we will work with you in getting it completed.
(4) Stay in recruiting mode! Invite your friends to meetings. Carry literature with you to give to anyone, adult or young person, who shows even a little interest in CAP. Let's do our best to grow by a few more members before summer vacation!
