Training Exercise at Hearts Content 15-17 May

I need to know the following information as soon as possible, hopefully by tomorrow (18 Apr), but no later than 21 Apr, so I can relay it to the individual who is making arrangements with the campground at Hearts Content:

(1) Who plans to attend the Search and Rescue training at Heart's Content on 15-17 May.  (Those who plan to camp may set up on the evening of the 15th or the morning of the 16th.  There will be training on the evening of the 15th if enough people arrive early enough.)

(2) Who plans to set up camp, either on the evening of the 15th or the morning of the 16th.

(3) Who plans to attend, but does not plan to set up camp.

Everyone from 505 is encouraged to participate in the training if at all possible.  Due to funding constraints, this may be the only group training opportunity this year.  Please remember that what we learn is more than theory; our expertise is intended to save lives, and we cannot save lives without expertise.  CAP is credited with saving more than 90 lives nationwide in 2008.  At some future point, someone will be depending on 505.  We have a great group of senior members and cadets with loads of potential.  Let's do our best to be ready.

Please do your absolute best to support our squadron meeting and Open House on 21 Apr.  Please encourage your parents to attend and invite all of your friends.  We will have special guests from our Group 6 Command Staff that you will want to meet.  We will also have snacks and refreshments, and hopefully, a number of important visitors from our community in attendance as well.  By order of Lt Hagberg, you may wear USAF blues if you have complete uniforms, or complete BDUs.  Please do your best to meet uniform and personal appearance standards.  BDU sleeves are to be rolled up.  If you do not know the proper method, it will be demonstrated for you Tuesday evening.  If you have any questions, give Lt Hagberg or me a call.
