NERPA505 Update -- Squadron Dinner Coming Up!

Hello, 505!  I hope everyone had a great weekend and stayed warm!

(1) Tuesday is Character Development and Leadership night.  The uniform of the day is Class B blues.  BDUs are acceptable for those who do not have blues.
(2) The squadron dinner is scheduled for 19 Jan. at our regular meeting location.  We hope that every member will plan to attend.  This is a great opportunity to be of encouragement to the squadron.  Thanks again to Faith Fellowship for volunteering the use of their facility.  Let's plan to tie up loose ends for the dinner on Tuesday night. I need a total number of cadets and family members who plan to attend.  We will ask for a donation of $5.00 person, age 12 years and up, to help defray expenses.  The menu will be simple.  You will be notified by email when it is finalized, but it looks like we will have spaghetti, meatballs, salad, dinner rolls, and a desert.  The uniform should be Class B blues for cadets, or suitable dinner dress for those who do not have blues, and blues or corporate uniform for senior members, of suitable dinner dress.
(3) I will be attending a final planning meeting for Winterfest on 12 Jan.  I will post an update if there is any new information.  As it stands, squadron members who can be available on Saturday, 23 Jan., will supplement the Fire Police in directing traffic and parking.
