NERPA505 Update

Greetings 505! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I received some good news a couple of days ago when I received an email from Jon Durnell. He has finished boot camp and is continuing schooling. He asked about everyone in the squadron and has evidently been keeping up with the squadron blog.

(1) The Group 6 Inspector General will be visiting our squadron this Tuesday. By order of the commander, the uniform of the day will be USAF style Class B Blues. Uniforms and personal appearance should be in accordance with regulations. If you have any questions, please address them to Capt. Hagberg or to me. C/MSgt. Matheny has informed me that a full schedule of training is ready for the evening.
(2) Tuesday is monthly Safety Briefing night. Please remember that the safety briefing must either be attended or read, and signed off on the log, before senior members or cadets can participate in any organized squadron activity other than classroom.
(3) Tuesday would normally be testing night, but as most of you know by now we are currently without an available testing officer. SM SSgt. Atwood is no longer able to assist cadets with testing because of his busy schedule. We are thankful and appreciative of his generous giving of his time and expertise while he had opportunity. He is especially to be thanked for helping us get our Color Guard off to a great start. Hopefully, we will be able to resolve the testing officer issue very quickly. 1 Lt. Orris is a testing officer, but has been unable to attend meetings due to his work schedule and less than ideal travel conditions between Warren and Bradford. Cadets should use the time to study and be ready for their next achievement exam. Thanks, Ed, and best wishes!

Semper Vigilans!

See you Tuesday!
