NERPA505 Update

Happy New Year, 505!  I hope all of you are looking forward to a great year with CAP as much as I am.  Remember that meetings are canceled only if there is an active Winter Storm Warning in effect.  Otherwise, we will plan to meet as usual.

(1) Tuesday, 5 Jan., is Safety Briefing & testing night.  PT and drill testing will be offered, as well as written testing pending the availability of our testing officer.  The uniform of the day will be BDUs.
(2) The date settled on by the cadets for our squadron dinner is 19 Jan., location to be announced.  Hopefully, we can finalize plans Tuesday night.
(3) Those of you who have helped with Winterfest posters, please email me a list of every place that allowed you to put up a poster, the name(s) of cadets who participated, and the hours worked.  I will be sure that each one receives a letter from the county verifying community service hours.  Please inform Chaplain Matheny this Tuesday evening if you know for sure that you will be able to assist with parking at Winterfest on Saturday, 23 Jan.
(4) The annual PAWG Cadet Conference is accepting registrations.  Check with C/CMSgt. Matheny, C/SSgt. Matheny and C/SrA Peterson, all of whom attended last year, if you have questions about the conference.  View or download a registration form by clicking here.  Cadets who desire to attend should inform Capt. Hagberg or Chaplain Matheny.

  Semper Vigilans!

See you Tuesday!
